Disabling Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration

Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (IE ESC for short) is a feature built into Internet Explorer on all Windows Server systems after Server 2000. While IE ESC can be helpful to stop malicous web browsing and downloads, it can also get in the way while trying to perform normal, everyday tasks. Disabling it is simpler than you think.
1. Click Start, point to Control Panel, then click "Add or Remove Programs"
Click "Add/Remove Windows Components"
Uncheck the box next to "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration"
Click Next, then Finish, and close the "Add or Remove Programs" Window
